We have been providing practitioner-level education in Essential Feng Shui® since 1996, with over 1800 Alumni and over 750 graduates from 28 countries. Our Practitioner Training Immersion Program offers you the in-depth knowledge and practical skills you need to become a professional Essential Feng Shui® practitioner. "What does your practitioner training include?"
Your training in Essential Feng Shui® begins as soon as you register with your pre-training projects. These include viewing instructional DVDs of Terah consulting with Feng Shui clients (yours to keep), and completing several introspective, creative, and reading assignments. Your 7 days in class includes all of the topics covered in the syllabus and more! You also receive a notebook with over 100 pages of practitioner-level information, marketing materials, client handouts, and full color Bagua and 5 Element Maps for your Feng Shui briefcase. After your time in class, you are given post-training projects that allow you to gain experience and practice your Feng Shui skills. These include completing 7 consultations and reviewing them with a WSFS instructor. Upon successful completion of your projects, you receive your Certificate of Achievement as an Essential Feng Shui® Practitioner.
"How do I register?"
First of all, please register as soon as you decide to attend so that you can get started on your pre-training projects!

"What if I don't have time to finish all the pre-training assignments?"
These assignments are designed so that if you can't complete them before class, you can bring them with you. Some people complete their assignments on the airplane, or in the evenings when they're not in class!
"How exactly can Essential Feng Shui® help me in my current career?"
Your proficiency in Essential Feng Shui® can certainly add value and depth to your current vocation. Our graduates come from all walks in life and many have enriched their medical, teaching, business, and design careers with their Feng Shui knowledge. It can provide you with a great reason to reconnect with customers, clients, or patients and helps to attract new business. Best of all, it can deepen your enthusiasm and interest in your work.
"I understand that the Essential Feng Shui® training program's class time consists of 7 full days. What happens if I am unable to attend all 7 days?"
Our 7 days of classes are presented in sequential order. If necessary, we do our best to make arrangements for you to attend the segments you miss in another training. Please note that our classroom space for transfers is limited and subject to availability on a "standby" basis.
"Is 7 days really enough time to learn everything I need to know?"
Your EFS Training is much more that 7 days. Your training begins with your pre-training projects that lay the foundation for your 7 days in class. During the in-class portion of your training you are fully immersed in the topics listed on the syllabus, and more. Then, your post-training projects help you become proficient in everything you learn in class. These projects include completing 7 consultations and reviewing them with a WSFS instructor. Upon successful completion of your classes, along with your pre-and- post-training projects, you'll receive your Certificate of Achievement as an Essential Feng Shui® Practitioner. We also provide you with valuable graduate support, including our Practitioner Directory, Resource Kits, and Alumni marketing materials.
"What is included in my tuition?"
Your tuition includes your pre-training package, with instructional DVDs of Terah consulting with Feng Shui clients (yours to keep), and introspective, creative, and reading assignments. "How many people are in each class?"
Our classes are intimate, averaging 15 people per training. Attendees often become good friends, develop heartfelt connections with each other, and stay in touch after the training.
"What is the ratio of women and men in the classes?"
Typically, there are more women than men, and we welcome both sexes and all ethnicities, ranging from 18 to 80+ years young. We often have at least one "pair" of best friends, spouses, mothers/daughters, or sisters in class. Many of our graduates create business partnerships with family members or friends, or add Essential Feng Shui® to their existing architecture, teaching, health care, or interior design careers.
"I'm coming in from out of town. Where do I stay?"
You have your choice! Because our classes take place in a lovely coastal hotel, you are welcome to stay onsite. Condos, B&Bs, and other hotels are nearby, offering you a wide selection of accommodation. There are also seaside campgrounds close by. AMTRAK train service, as well as many restaurants, shops, and other amenities are in easy walking distance, and most attendees don't require a car.
"When do I have to complete my post-training projects?"
Although we encourage you to complete them within 8-12 weeks after your class, you have as long as you wish to finish your post-training projects. We understand that life events can take priority and affect your ability to complete your training, so you are welcome to submit your final projects whenever you can.
"What happens after I receive my Certificate of Achievement?"
You are officially an Essential Feng Shui® practitioner and graduate of the Western School of Feng Shui®! During class, we'll discuss many ways to build and grow your business and enjoy the benefits of being a professional in the Feng Shui community. These benefits include becoming a Red Ribbon member of the International Feng Shui Guild, being listed in our WSFS Practitioner Directory, and receiving helpful weekly Alumni emails from WSFS.
"I'd like to graduate as soon as possible. How can I do that?"
Arrive in class with your friends and family already booked for consultations! The sooner you can start consulting after class, the better.
"How much time do we have with Terah?"
Terah presents two of the 7 days of classes. She sets the foundation for the training on the first day and discusses history, philosophy, and the "why" and "how" to align yourself with Feng Shui principles. She also teaches the last day, including I Ching marketing & promotion, Q&A, and final integration of your training. Mid-week, Terah facilitates an evening lab to discuss the Bagua Map and answer questions, and another evening for our dinner party celebration and class photo. Our other WSFS teachers are all outstanding presenters. Terah promises that you will love them all!
"Do you offer CEU's?"
The "Western School of Feng Shui" is approved by the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork (NCBTMB) as a continuing education Approved Provider.

Yes, you do. We gladly accept applicants who have an expertise or familiarity in other types of Feng Shui, as this knowledge only serves to create more confidence in the practice of Essential Feng Shui®.
