The Bumblebees…
Wow, this was a wonderful group of women who became best buds with each other so quickly! They adopted the group name of the Bumblebees, and the huge black bumblebees outside responded, even visiting the conference room unexpectedly on the last morning!

On the last day, while having their photo taken at the Meditation Gardens here in Encinitas, two students engaged a stranger to take their photo, "Say bumblebee!" he said. When asked why he chose that phrase to inspire their smiles, he replied, "I don't know why – it just popped into my head!"

Q & A – Feng Shui Handouts

Q. I think these handouts will come in very handy for my library workshops. I really like them. As long as I leave credit to WSFS (use the flyers exactly as they are) would WSFS be okay with that?

All the handouts are available for everyone to use, for their personal Feng Shui, to share with friends and family, for Feng Shui Practitioners to re-print for their talks and workshops… the list goes on. Feng Shui Practitioner Training Final Project

For all the whining we students may have done about the length and depth of the final project, what a great process this final project was in helping me put into practice what I learned and to find my own knowledge buried deep inside. This is truly an integral part of the program. I will feel like a Graduate, when I pass my interview later this month. The process of doing consultations, taking before and after pictures and writing up the reports helped me clarify and organize my new knowledge and deepen my confidence. The follow-ups with my "clients" have been a powerful reminder of how Feng Shui operates in the world — from helping people get new jobs, sleep better, work better, be happier — I am in awe of this ancient philosophy in practice and am so thrilled to be a guide.

Thank you all for your support; I know I will be calling upon it as my journey as a feng shui practitioner continues.

Q & A – Feng Shui Online Classes

Q. Is there another way of learnign other than on-site in California? I live in Orlando, Florida and would like to study to be a practitioner. I have been reading alot and I favor the Western Feng Shui teachings. Thank you, Y. Cornelius

A. YES! We have just released our first Essential Feng Shui Online Course: The Bagua Map. This is a self-guided interactive course that can take from 3-20 hours, depending upon your dedication and zest for the material. Although it’s the same material presented during the Practitioner Training, there are more personal exercises that allow you to go deeper, really embracing the Bagua Map experience, its origins and how to apply the Bagua Map to any space, including your home and office.

Altogether, we are producing a series of 7 Essential Feng Shui modules, each focusing on a core Feng Shui principle. Each module will be available to all Feng Shui enthusiasts, regardless of past training or experience.

Available in 2009: Ch’I Flow & Ch’I Enhancements, Yin and Yang, The Five Elements

Available in 2010: Essential Feng Shui for Residences, Essential Feng Shui for Businesses, Essential Feng Shui for Landscapes
